Privacy Policy

This document explains how Banyan & Beacon Global LLC collects, uses, protects, and retains personal information submitted through this website and in the course of our advisory work.

Last updated: November 2026

01Scope and Responsibility

This Privacy Policy covers the handling of personal information in connection with the operation of Banyan & Beacon Global LLC and the advisory, marketing, and business development services it provides. It applies to information submitted through this website, to correspondence with the advisory desk, and to information held in the ordinary course of delivering contracted services.

Banyan & Beacon Global LLC is the controller of the personal information described here. Where we act as a service provider for a client, that client is the controller instead, and our handling of their data is set out in the service-level agreement signed with them.

02Information We Collect

We collect what is needed to evaluate and answer an inquiry. Nothing else, and nothing by accident.

  • What you send us directly: your name, corporate email address, organization, the nature of your inquiry, and the message itself.
  • Technical information gathered automatically: IP address, browser type, device characteristics, referring pages, and aggregated interaction data used to run and protect the site.
  • Engagement information: correspondence, documentation, and instructions exchanged with a client during a mandate.

03How We Use Information

Personal information is used for stated, lawful purposes, and no further than the relationship with you requires.

  • To review and answer partner, developer, relocation, advisory, and general corporate inquiries.
  • To evaluate, scope, negotiate, and deliver advisory engagements.
  • To run, secure, and maintain this website.
  • To meet legal, regulatory, contractual, and record-keeping obligations.
  • To understand how the site is used in aggregate and improve what we write, provided your rights are not overridden.

04Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information, and we do not license it to anyone for their own commercial benefit. It is shared only in these circumstances.

  • With service providers who host our infrastructure, deliver email, or maintain security, each bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection terms.
  • With professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and legal counsel, where it is needed to protect our interests or meet an obligation.
  • With regulators or public authorities, where disclosure is required by law or needed to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
  • With a successor entity in a reorganization, merger, or transfer of substantially all assets, provided equivalent protections continue to apply.
  • At your direction, including where you ask us to introduce you to a counterparty within a live mandate.

05International Data Transfers

The firm is organized in the United States and works with partners across the Asia-Pacific region. Information you submit may therefore be accessed or processed from another jurisdiction. Where that happens, we rely on an appropriate transfer mechanism and apply safeguards proportionate to the sensitivity of the information.

06Retention

Information is kept for as long as it serves a business, contractual, or legal purpose, and no longer.

  • Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for a limited period, long enough to support a future re-engagement, and are then deleted or anonymized.
  • Client engagement records are kept in line with the applicable service-level agreement and our professional record-keeping obligations.
  • Records that law requires us to keep are retained for the statutory period in the relevant jurisdiction.

07Security

We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards in proportion to what we hold. In practice that means access limited to people who need it, encryption in transit, managed endpoint protection, periodic review of what we retain, and confidentiality obligations for everyone who works here. No method of transmission is completely secure, and we do not promise absolute protection against unauthorized access.

08Your Rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to ask for access to your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Send any such request to

[email protected]

. We will verify who you are and respond within the period the law requires. We may keep information where a legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purpose calls for it.

09Cookies and Analytics

This site uses only the technologies it needs to load and to keep basic security and functionality in place. We run no advertising cookies and no cross-site behavioral tracking. If analytics or other non-essential technologies are added later, this policy will be updated and any required consent mechanism will be in place before they go live.

10Breach Notification

Should a breach of personal information occur that is likely to put people's rights and freedoms at risk, we will notify the affected individuals and any competent authority as the law requires.

11Changes to This Policy

We review this policy periodically and amend it when our practices or the law change. The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this page, and archived versions are available on request.
